Discord trading signal terms
Plain definitions for the language used across this guide. When a term carries a test, its entry links out to the page that unpacks it.
The terms, defined
Signal room
A channel - often on Discord - where an operator posts real-time trade calls to subscribers; its trustworthiness depends entirely on whether those calls can be checked afterward.
Pinned post
A message fixed to the top of a channel; useful for navigation, but no evidence of when a call was made, since a pin can be swapped at any time.
Track record
The complete run of past calls, wins and losses side by side, which only tells you anything while the losing calls remain in it. See: a re-openable record.
Independent review
A review of the underlying statements by a named outside party that gains nothing from the verdict. See: how to verify a record.
Bitcoin timestamp
A hash of a call written into a Bitcoin block at the moment of sending, proving the call existed in exactly that form at that time and was not altered afterward. See: sealed before the result.
Conviction grade
An A-to-D mark for how strong a call is against its own model's measured return spread; the E band does not exist. See: grades that are measured.
Drawdown
The largest peak-to-trough drop across a stretch of time - a straighter read on risk than the top-line return.
Mean reversion
Trading a price that has stretched unusually far from a typical level and tends to snap back toward it; the four models apply that idea on four different clocks.
Win rate
The share of calls that closed profitably - trustworthy only with the total call count shown beside it. See: why a win rate needs a count.
